End of the World

If you are into "End of the World" scenarios, then you have to check out this site. It is called Exit Mundo. It breaks down into four categories, Space, Earth, Science and Religion.

It is simply amazing at how many ways there are to end the world. Personally, I believe most anything is possible, including divine intervention. It is what it is.

Maybe we are going to get hit with gamma rays or an asteroid. Maybe our atoms are going to become extinct all at once making everything and everyone disappear. Maybe we will nuke it out or have a pandemic.

Maybe nothing will happen for millions of years. Again, it is what it is. There is more than our life on this planet.. It is all interesting! When we do pass over, that too will be interesting.

Personally, I'm leaning towards cosmic karma; as a species we've self destructed many times before. And, until we learn to get along, we'll continue self destructing, augmented with those occasional meteorite wipe outs for variety.

I say we keep a cyanide capsul in our teeth in case things get too intense. Or keep some grape kool aid on hand.

I always have this pressing feeling some cataclysim will be in my lifetime - for all the visions I see of the future sometimes I just get these heavy images of battle - humans just going completely nuts. Thats an awesome pic.
