I recently came across this article and wanted to share it with you. This happens to me all the time. Not just with streetlights but with other items. TV’s, watches, computers, PDA’s, cell phones… etc.

Have you ever noticed street lights mysteriously turning off as you walk or drive by and thought that you might be the cause? Maybe you are. Welcome to the world of SLIders

Paranormal researchers, crypto zoologists, UFO buffs et all have a need to document and record their efforts. Being curious to the point of freakishness, I Googled for Paranormal Research tools and equipment; the stuff is out there!

Ghost hunters may require a quality EMF detector, if so, you’re covered; try the new K2-EMF Detector as featured in “ghost hunters,” from Paranormal Research Tools , they also carry infrared thermometers, digital camcorders, infrared light sources, IR cameras, digital voice recorders, white noise generators, night vision stuff, DVR recorders, digital still cameras, Gaussmeters to detect magnetic fields. Serious tools for research

Healing Power of Cats

July 10th 2008 20:08
Skyrun4, a new entrant into the wide world of Orble has been a friend of mine for year’s n years and I’ve invited her to share her thoughts with us. We’ve known each other since I last had hair that could honestly be combed; yup, that long. She loves paranormal stuff as do I, so hopefully, she’ll hang out with us while contributing stories to amaze and delight us all.

While she and I were chatting, an interesting topic came up; the healing power of cats.

Karma is a Pimple on Gods Butt

April 19th 2008 02:54
Does Kharma count as a paranormal event? It damn well ought to. Who, what, when or where or why is this freak Kharma pestering me anyway? If god exists in all things, times and dimensions or permeates all that is, is he/she the dealer of karma; or is karma some freaky kind of a training technique of reward and punishments to modify behavior of cosmic pets? Or is it something malevolent? Does Kharma have an evil twin that looks like what we imagine Satan in drag with an attitude would look and behave like, is that who is tossing karmic blessing or curses around? Or have the democrats taken over my world? This week has been just plain wrong.

As I said, this @#$%!ing weak ass week has just flat out pissed me off. And if Kharma had anything to do with it, there’s gonna be hell to pay. Here’s the short list of crapola that made this week so very special

John Titors Predictions - Watch

Background History: The name John Titor, may be a play on time traveler, and was the name of a so-called military time-traveler from 2036, who came to this time period during the fall of 2000 in a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette with a portable time machine and tasked with a specific mission; Why? Was it due in part because he erred in the past trying to fix a future problem and came back to attempt a reversal or did he come back to help raise himself (he was purportedly born 1998) and alive now. A past mission to 1975 was made to locate and recover an IBM 5100 series computer (run APL and Basic programming languages) for use in 2036

Late evening about a week ago, I was enjoying a corned beef sandwich, a huge mug of hot coffee and the relative peace of the coming night. It was a bit past 9pm, way to late to justify my snack treats, but I was in a wonderfully indulgent state of mine, and so, remembering that C2Cam was on the air, I turned on my radio to listen to the evenings show. It was a discussion concerning John Titor, the so-called time traveler.

I’d run into bit and pieces of the Titor background story, so my treats and I settled in for the evening. It held promise of high mystery and intrigue. And the program did indeed fulfill this expectation.

A bright and witty man has passed away, among others things, he wrote compelling Sci-Fi; his named is Sir Arthur C. Clarke. As an avid reader and movie fan of the Sci-Fi genre, Sir Arthur Clarke is well known to this blogger for his futuristic visions bordering on psychic revelations; what source did he tap into? How were he, and Edgar R. Burroughs, George Orwell, H G Wells, Jules Verne, George Lucas, Frank Hubert, Isaac Asimov and even Gene Roddenberry able to tap into the collective knowledge of future events or other parallel dimensions; inspiring modern scientist's to attempt the impossible with his predictions. Googling for information or a fitting eulogy, I discovered the following article. It details many of his major predictions and their impact.

Skinwalkers???

February 17th 2008 02:28
A recent movie, that I missed seeing in a local theater, was finally released as a DVD and I rented it from my local video shop. The title was intriguing, and I was somewhat familiar with its skinwalker theme. Sadly, what had been a portent promise of adventure ended up a miserable failure, as a movie, this tale left me wanting. But the premise for the movie is intriguing and as provocative as any paranormal tale can be.

There is a myth and mystery surrounding a remote 480 acre ranch in northeastern Utah; we’ll call this very real location, Skinwalker ranch. The local Native-American tribe, the Utes, referred to the area as the "path of the Skinwalker," and advised avoiding this land. According to their legend, a skinwalker is an "evil sorcerer," capable of shape-shifting and turning into various animals. Further, the Utes believe that the skinwalkers are very powerful spirits manifested because of a curse placed upon them generations ago by Navajos, and tribal members are forbidden from setting foot on the property

Hooah, It's official now, the Guinness Book of World Records has confirmed this monstrous motorcycle as the world's heaviest, and perhaps appropriately enough, the ugliest. This psycho crazy beasty was built in Zilly, Germany by Harzer Bike Schmiede, and nicknamed the, Led Zeppelin-personally, Beasty would have sufficed

Floating Near the Ceiling

December 30th 2007 18:43
I met Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross in the early seventies, a tiny giant of a woman at a gathering of Sufi initiates in Oregon. She chatted with the group for a couple of hours about death and dying, touching also on near death and out of body experiences.

What she shared with the group was interesting, encouraging and has stuck with me over the years

Men don't do Subtle!

December 28th 2007 11:12
It’s been my observation that men can’t read or get subtle messages. Aka, HINTS. Is it genetically based and therefore a survival issue? Or are men just bone heads or what? What’s your take on the matter?

Do you usually need to verbally hammer, hammer and hammer a guy’s attention span to help him recognize a hint in the twinkling of your eyes? Failing sledge hammers; do billboards or dynamite help guys get the messages, about guys not getting hints? It just may be true, it’s not one of our strengths.

No Where Steps

December 23rd 2007 04:12
Early this morning, pre-coffee and post alarm clock tossing. I stumbled towards the kitchen while still only semi conscience and yet full of hopeful desire to unravel the mysteries of basic coffee building. The braille method of navigation seemed to be working well for me. Occasionally, in brief spurts, I even experienced ocular clarity during that long, long journey towards the center of my focus; full entry into the kitchen.

During the course of one such spurt, something prompted this sleep walker to look out the front door window, to see with his own sleep crust covered eyes, what was really cooking outside. It sounded like it was raining. It turned out that it was only the snow melting and spewing over the edges of blocked and overflowing rain gutters to drip upon the decks and rails of the porch. It seems that we were experiencing a warming spell, it had gotten up to 34f, and now I was going to be serenaded all morning with the sound of dripping waters. Great, just great. Those coffee urges were suddenly becoming more than compelling, they'd drifted towards the realm of overwhelming need

What's Normal? This List?

December 11th 2007 19:49
Is Zeta Talk your favorite web site. Does your entire entourage of bulb headed friends wear one piece jump suits? Do you Sign telepathically? Do hot women in bikini's terrify you, what about fat old men in thongs. Is your two headed, three legged cat pregnant? Do you have strange cravings? Can you walk through walls? If any of this resonates with you. Then maybe, just maybe, you’ve had a paranormal experience(s) with some of the following. Or worse, another really bad hair day.
