Beyond strange is the weird, beyond normal is paranormal, beyond paranormalParanormal is, ...what?

Karma is a Pimple on Gods Butt

April 19th 2008 02:54
Does Kharma count as a paranormal event? It damn well ought to. Who, what, when or where or why is this freak Kharma pestering me anyway? If god exists in all things, times and dimensions or permeates all that is, is he/she the dealer of karma; or is karma some freaky kind of a training technique of reward and punishments to modify behavior of cosmic pets? Or is it something malevolent? Does Kharma have an evil twin that looks like what we imagine Satan in drag with an attitude would look and behave like, is that who is tossing karmic blessing or curses around? Or have the democrats taken over my world? This week has been just plain wrong.

As I said, this @#$%!ing weak ass week has just flat out pissed me off. And if Kharma had anything to do with it, there’s gonna be hell to pay. Here’s the short list of crapola that made this week so very special.

A-The job offer I just spent 8 months training for was withdrawn, along with it’s $3,000 base wage and commissions (remain unpaid)
B-The offer was withdrawn for non religious reasons, were they reading my blogs
C-The cost of electrical power will go up 500% ~ great, and one more thing I can’t afford
D-The VA informed me that my PTSD and GAF 15 score was a pre existing condition, hahaha
E-The calcified cyst or bone in my right hand decided to lock up and has quit playing nicely when I try to hold objects heavier than a spoon
F-My sister just let me know that she has a very aggressive form of breast cancer
F-and my lottery tickets were all zips.

So, is karma a random cycle related to luck? Or is it something we call into existence as the result of depression or illness. If there are an infinite number of parallel universes in existence right now, and there are other me’s running around on them, is it possible that our paths have inexplicably crossed and I reaping what one of those other heathens has sown?

Can anyone sort this out and explain it to me?

Because, right now, things suck!

And so does karma.

Hey Kharma, read my lips . . .

Oh Raven, I'm so sorry, that's terrible! Your poor sister...

I don't know about karma. I don't like the idea of being paid back in another life. I think what goes around comes around, generally - but then, bad things happen to good people, too.

I hope you have some good news soon.

Well, sometimes stuff just happens and it makes you a bit cranky, for me the final straw was the news concerning my sister. If I knew who grew that final straw, I'd pummel them into a new occupation.

Thanks for the concern Michaelie, I appreciate it.

Raven, that's a long, bad list. I'm sorry to hear about all of it, particularly about your sister. You have my sympathy, and I hope that through some aggressive treatment the doctors can beat back her illness.

You can probably guess my opinion on karma......

its hard when a whole heap of things that are out of your control go wrong, its easy to fall into the trap of feeling "unlucky" but im sure the worlds not out to get you . . . this is what i say to myself anyway, or else i would crawl into a paranoid little hole

i hope your sister is going to be ok, and you get the strength back in your hand . . . medical problems are often the most worrying

these are the lemons, you will get your lemonade soon!

Hello Winston, it's great to hear from you. Sis is strong and she's not going to roll over and play dead for any reason. She'll fight back with bloody tooth and nail. Her name is Cindy btw.

Karma and I aren't seeing eye to eye at the moment, and yup, I can guess that Ms Kharma is a member of your fan club as well.....not!

Hiya Morgan, welcome to Raven's lemon aid and lox bagel stand, would you like the standard bitter fare or the bottom locking sour stuff?

Humor is always a balm for the pain and a reminder that the future is malleable. By putting out the story, it initiates the process of change. Therein lays the future.

This is weird,
tonight, mum was telling me there was a mistake at the store - she was accidently given 300 by mistake and she felt a bit silly and old fashioned for taking it back. I replied, "Well. Its good karma. But we all know how that pays out."

She replied - "tell me about it. They gave me a $20 voucher!"

Karma is all screwed up right now, apocalypse is coming.

Nasty list my friend. Im sending what Ive got for your hand - Medford is conduit. Advice for cancer - it can ALWAYS be beaten, but once oxygen hits it it will spread like wildfire and radiation treatment often weakens the body and spirit to a point its hard to fight the beast itself.

D-The VA informed me that my PTSD and GAF 15 score was a pre existing condition, hahaha

That just plain sucks - they tried to pull that one on my dad too but he eventually got his TPI just kept at it.

With the job...Im thinking they scammed you.

Kali's blessings on you friend.

Kleo, very intuitive my friend, there are changes afoot that will affect us all.

Well, the owner is a raging born again evangelic believer and rabid in his version of faith. I turned the matter over to the states wage and hour folks. If I hadn't, the agency that provided me with training and equipment could come under criticism from an internal audit. I can't allow that.

Medford is a great conduit, he takes the job seriously and as I mentioned in another comment, lays on my hand and purrs.

They create monster and loose them on society and claim its a pre-existing condition, hahahahaha, sigh.

Thanks for the warm loving support kleo, I appreciate your concern.

Well, I'm a bit late in replying to this one, but it's the title that most caught my attention.

Not that you seriously expected an answer, but I do believe there are differences between Karma (what goes out must return, otherwise known as Consequence!), Experience (the whole purpose of a soul's incarnation on earth - to explore life through senses/emotions), and Lessons (how we learn and evolve as spiritual beings). None of what you're going through seems much like Karma.... not in my humble opinion, anyway. And yes, I'm totally aware of the fact that not one bit of that makes a dent in how you feel about what's going on in your circumstances... but I thought I'd throw in my two cents anyway.

Sorry to hear about the A-F hard-knocks and hope that between then (when you wrote this) and now (my tardy ass response), things have managed to get better.

Loved this concept:

If there are an infinite number of parallel universes in existence right now, and there are other me’s running around on them, is it possible that our paths have inexplicably crossed and I reaping what one of those other heathens has sown?

Hmmm.....

Blessings,

W

Hmmmm, W, well Mz Wendi, you can pop in any time that you'd like to do so; things are better and never were that bad, except everything ganged up on me at once ~ surely a cosmic joke???

And life doesn't come equipped with a complaint department, well not until Damo recently started one..

I like your new site, very much; it's well done.

You're right about your assessment, and stuff happens, but some of us love to rave against the wind for the sheer delight of doing so.

Hi Kleo, thanks for popping in . . . I'd say something clever but I'm in a witless protection program until after my first cup of coffee.
