What do angels look like? Do they look like the angel in this photo?

Let's see what the Bible says about how angels look.

Angels can resemble humans.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment. -Mark 16:5 KJV

They can be winged.


And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings. -Exodus 25:20 KJV

They can look terrifying!

His body was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
